Celebrating Cornwall's independent makers, beautiful autumn days and the joy of shopping local.
There is something rather special about Cornwall in October.
As autumn settles in and the days begin to grow shorter, we are occasionally treated to the most beautiful sunshine — the kind that makes you want to slow down, wander through town and enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors.
And what better place to spend a sunny October day than Truro Farmers Market?
A Market Full of Life
Beneath the familiar green and white market stalls at Lemon Quay, there is a wonderful sense of community.
Tables filled with locally made produce, artisan treats and handmade creations. Independent traders proudly displaying their work. People browsing, stopping for conversations and discovering something new.
The October sunshine brought an extra warmth to the atmosphere, encouraging people to come out, explore and enjoy what our local businesses have to offer.
It was lovely to see the market come alive.

Behind Every Stall Is a Story
What we love most about Cornwall's farmers' markets is that behind every product is a person, a passion and often years of hard work.
From small-batch food producers to talented craftspeople, these independent businesses bring so much character to our Cornish communities.
For a small business owner, a beautiful sunny market day can mean more than just good weather. It can bring more visitors, new customers, meaningful conversations and the opportunity to introduce their creations to someone who might never have discovered them otherwise.
And sometimes, something as simple as stopping at a stall, showing an interest or making a small purchase can make a real difference.

The Beauty of Supporting Local
At Cove & Moor, our love for Cornwall's wonderful independent makers is at the heart of what we do.
Our inspiration has grown through visits to farmers' markets across Cornwall, discovering beautiful products and appreciating the people and stories behind them.
We believe that shopping local is about more than what we buy. It is about recognising the care, creativity and dedication that go into making something special.
And while the autumn sunshine may bring people out, it is the continued support of our communities, through every season, that helps independent businesses thrive.
So here's to more beautiful Cornish days, bustling markets, friendly conversations and the wonderful people who make and create right here in Cornwall.
Because when we support small businesses, we help our communities flourish.
With love from Cornwall,
